The Pinarello Marvel EasyFit Ultegra brings out four sizes for hard-to-fit riders. These are slots in a bike's size run that short and shorter-torsoed people often have a hard time filling. Short folks often find themselves between sizes and stuck riding something either too small or too big; Pinarello believes everyone should have a bike that fits right.

The Marvel is almost identical to the Paris 50.1. That is the result of coming out of the same molds. Pinarello brought the Marvel out as a bike accessible to more riders thanks to the use of 30HM12K carbon-fiber, a more economical way to build. With the exception of that one change, the Marvel is the Paris. Every tube is equally asymmetrical. Every frame has the same geometry. Every bike has the same ride. And the ride is where Pinarello has struck gold. Their calling card is ride quality. The wavy fork and stays eat up vibrations while the asymmetric tube shapes keeps everything moving forward with no wasted energy. You'll ride easy and fast as a result.

This complete bike is built with the Shimano Ultegra Di2 component group. Electronic shifting is even easier than STI, and thanks to the magic of a battery doing the work, shifting will always feel light and easy and stay in adjustment, with your only maintenance being occasionally charging the battery. Ultegra is up to 11-speed these days, and this bike comes with a compact 50/34 crank set matched to an 11-25 cassette for both a wide range and lots of short steps between gears.

Pinarello's MOst component line fills in the rest of the bike's build. Pinarello employs these parts as a way of providing components that not only interact well with what they've built, but save the rider a bundle in the process. They're also parts you'll find riders on the ProTour Movistar team using.

It's worth taking a look under the Marvel's hood as well. First stop is the Think2 internal routing of cables. This bike comes electronic, but it might not be something you're ready to commit to for life. So with Think2, you can just pull the electronic wiring and install cabling if you decide down the line that mechanic shifting is your preference. Likewise, Pinarello employed the PressFit30 bottom bracket standard. If you choose to use a PF30 crank with an over-sized spindle in the future, you'll be ready for that option as well.
