My ClickBD
I am going to sell my one and a half year old Sapphire HD 7970 3GB edition graphics card. It is a fully functional graphics card with some major improvements from my part. I have swapped out the old thermal compound with high performance Artic Silver thermal compound which ensures low temperature when used for a longer period of time (it maxes out at 65 degrees average where as with the old compound it went up near 85 degree). Secondly I have changed the fans and have installed a new set of fans from china. You can test this by maxing out the fan speed with Sapphire Trixx and checking the fan speed with HardwareMonitor software. The fan speed will show an average value of 3909-4021 for the graphics card fan indicating they are newer fans and not the old broken ones. The card can be safely overclocked to 1000Mhz as advertised on the box. I have personally checked this and can confirm the card can go even beyond 1000mhz clock speed but you will need to have a good quality power supply if you want to push the card beyond this point. I have uploaded a picture of the box with the old set of fans and the accessories that came with graphics card. The only known defect is one of the fan was made with low quality plastic which caused it to have a fracture along its centerline. I have repaired this fracture with superglue and have put it thorough rigorous testing to ensure that the fan will not cause any more problem in the foreseeable future. The card is a beast of a performer. My old core i7 didn't manage to take full advantage of the cards power which is the main reason I am selling this card. You can find a lot more about this card's graphics potential in the following sites http://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/4599/sapphire_radeon_hd_7970_dual_x_3gb_oc_video_card_review/index.html http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/sapphire_hd_7970/ The price is fixed at Tk 13,000.
