3D-ready HDMI audio/video switching
The AVR-1611 is good to go with the latest HDMI capabilities, to handle 3D video, Blu-ray movies, and more. Connect up to four high-definition sources for convenient switching, like a gaming console, Blu-ray player, HD cable box, and your HD video camera. Switching capability means that you only need to run a single HDMI cable to your television, eliminating the cable cluster from the back of your new TV.

Auto system setup customizes the sound for your room
The AVR-1611 has sophisticated auto-calibration to take the guesswork out of setting up your surround sound system. Using the supplied microphone, it analyzes sound from up to six different listening positions in your home theater, then automatically adjusts volume level, equalization, and delay settings for each speaker. The result is much more spacious, accurate sound across a wide listening area. Dynamic Volume mode keeps your sound clear and steady, eliminating those annoying spikes in volume that accompany so many TV commercials.
