It has all the lines and edges just perfect for eyes and heart to be pleased. The Mazda RX-8 is the most practical rotary car you can buy. The Series 1 RX-8 is very different from the Series 2 RX-8. The Series 2 isn't just a facelift but a upgrade of the internals as well. The series 2 addresses all the problems of the series 1 Rx-8. The reason the Rx-8 has a reputation for unreliability revolves around the series 1 issues. The Series 2 has an added third oil injector for the oil metering pump which means that the Apex seals that sits around inside the housing is more lubricated in the series 2 and therefore causes less friction and thus longer engine life span and almost no overheating issues or heat soaking issues. The Series 2 is the "right" Rx-8. It took Mazda almost a decade to figure it out and but now the series 2 is been done to perfection. It's been a dream for me to own one and I've been very lucky to have this as my car. Now it's turn to make someones everyday a very happy day. |
