Tamron 70 300 is a pocket friendly lens  the auto focus is too slow and produces huge noise. Also often the lens gets confused while focusing, and hungs between focus and refocuses and this happens several times. So if you buy tamron, you will have to opt for manual focus often. The zoom ring is also a bit tight than the usual rings.
