Lifetime Mileage: 2.5 lacs+ km (Original Mileage) DESCRIPTION: I bought this car in March 2019 from a friend. Despite its high mileage, this car has great performance. And this assessment is based on my usage in CNG mode. This car is even more amazing when you run it on octane, for obvious reasons. I have done some after-purchase work on it as well, namely, full AC change (brand-new compressor and radiator), distributor change, battery plug change, new spark plugs, all essential oil changes, 4x new brake pads, 4x 18-inch tyres (a combination of Yokohama and Dunlop) amongst other minor work to bring it up to basic driving standards. All the documents are up to date, especially Fitness which is valid until June 2020 so you are good to go. Genuinely speaking, the only drawback, (if there were any) is the fact that it consumes a lot of fuel (both CNG and Octane). And this is despite having a 90 gas cylinder which honestly is a big factor. But then again, its not a car meant for practical use. I bought it purely for the love of cars like Mark 2, Chaser, Cresta, Windom and other similar 90s era cars. On a full tank gas (CNG), I can easily get anywhere between 80 to 100 km drive range which is pretty decent for an engine with more than 2.5 lacs km lifetime mileage. Also, the engine has never been tampered with, which is a good sign. This car is my daily driver and it really exceeded all my expectations when I initially bought it. To be honest, I would not be selling it in the first place if I were not interested in buying an SUV as my next car. Also, I am obliged to tell you that I have seen and tested a lot of Mark 2s (around 7 to be precise) before I settled for this one, so I know that there are some terrible examples out there. And what is worse is that many people try to sell you bad cars with horrible engine and suspension and claim that it is a mint-condition car. Any car that is more than 20 years old cannot be classified as mint-condition even if it's been restored to the best of one's ability. So one should be aware of this fact fully when buying older cars. But these 1G-FE (GX90) engines were really built for durability and performance. So if you are a genuine buyer then please message/call me. I am uploading this car to sell it to a genuine JDM enthusiast. Thanks! Call: 01781257684 / 01674218665 |
