Say hello to the i9000 Galaxy S Unlocked, Samsung's latest and most powerful Android based handset. We had an inkling earlier regarding the possible launch of this handset. But the only things we knew back then were that it will come with a super AMOLED screen and that it will run Android. Let's now see what the i9000 has on offer for you.
We will start with the screen. The i9000 boasts of a crisp, super AMOLED 800 x 480 -pixel screen that measures 4-inches across. This makes the i9000 Samsung's biggest touchscreen phone till date. The Omnia HD for comparisons sake "only" had a 3.7-inch screen. The screen also features something known as the mobile Digital Natural Imagine engine (mDNIe) that supposedly makes the images better - on screen. This technology was earlier found only on Samsung LCD and LED Tvs.
