personally i really like the device as an ebook reader. it's definitely more capable than a nook color / tablet or kindle fire,
the only real advantages those have over the iconia a100 is they have better battery life and better viewing angles.

this is more capable as you can run the android market with no tweaking, you can run your own files where the other
book readers have limitations.

you cannot use a sim card on this device.

please ask me any questions if you are really serious about purchasing.
