Macro Filter Every camera has a limitation of the minimum distance for shooting the picture. That means you cannot go closer to the object more than the distance ecommended by the manufacturer. With close up lenses you can come closer to your object without actually coming closer to the object and you enjoy the closest possible image of your choice. The close up lens set is for taking pictures of flowers, small collectibles, coins and stamps, insects, small creatures,or anything samll that requires up-close detail.each close up lens maintains resolution and picture clarity while magnifying image size. The set includes four lenses:+1 +2 +4 and +10 macro. They can also be stacked to create +3 +5 +6 +7and so on.Use the lenses individually or in any combination. Neutral Density A Neutral Density filter or ND filter is a "grey" filter,it appear gray and reduce the amount of light reaching the film or sensor, but do not have an effect on color balance. The purpose of standard photographic neutral density filters is to allow the photographer greater flexibility to change the aperture or exposure time, allowing for more control, particularly in extreme circumstances such as on a very bright day. ND filter have four main uses: • To enable slow shutter speeds to be used, especially with fast films, to record movement in subjects such as waterfalls, clouds, cars, seas, etc. • To decrease depth of field by allowing wider apertures to be used, which helps separate subjects from their background. • To decrease the effective ISO of high speed film (ie: above ISO400) and allow it to be used outdoors in blight situations. • To allow cine and video cameras (which have fixed shutter speeds) to film subjects such as snow, sand or other bright scenes which would normally cause over-exposure. CIRCULAR PL Filter: • Light rays which are reflected by any surface can become polarised so polarising filters are used to select which light rays enter your camera lens. CIRCULAR PL filters allow you to remove unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water, glass etc. They also enable colors to become more saturated and appear clearer with better contrast. This effect is often used to increase the contrast and saturation in blue skies and white clouds. LENS HOOD A lens hood’s main purpose is to block light. If the lens is a prime lens (fixed focal length, non-zooming) the hood will resemble a tube, often larger at one end than the other. For zoom lenses the hood will have a curved opening at one end. This curve is cut to the zoom range of the lens and allows for the wider field of view afforded smaller focal lengths, while still attempting to block most light at a longer focal length. It’s a compromise that matches the compromise of a zoom lens.
