This is an amazing camera.
Pentax is not a very familiar brand in BD, but it is well-renowned for superior performance since the film-era.

The k-x packs the sensor of a D90 in a small body and hence it has amazing low-light performance.
The biggest advantage is that it is compatiblewith all K-mount lenses starting from the Film era.
Part of the reason you can buy amazing lenses which are miraculously cheap.
You 'll find a lens for every purpose without spending a fortune.
It offers a lot more than canikons for little money.
