It can reduce the temp of the PCB and keep your expensive GPU safe from any kind of harms like Dropping CPU cooler on it
Not to mention the fact taht it looks fantastic

Originally it was made for GTX590 but works with 570,580,660,660Ti,670,680 without modding

It can be modded to work with any types of ATI/AMD cards as well

Bought 2 of these to attach to my SLI setup but I have only one card ATM and wont be needing the second backplate
