For Accounts department This position will be responsible for maintaining company accounts and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. This position addresses multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year end audit preparation and the support of budget and forecast activities. The accountant will have contact with all the management team and this would require strong interpersonal communication skills. Types of tasks and responsibilities including but not limiting to; •Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information. •Documents financial transactions by entering account information. •Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports. •Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure of the company •Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close. •Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information. •Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents. •Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures. •Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions. •Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. •Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements. by accomplishing related results as needed Minimum education : SSC /HSC Starting Salary Range : optimal, depending upon interview.
