Check-in time is 12 Noon. Overnight stay will be at Delhi. TajMahal, Agra Day 2 Delhi After breakfast, enjoy a full day guided city tour of Old and New Delhi . Visiting Safdarjung's Tomb, RashtrapatiBhawan , the residence of the President of India, Lotus Temple and India Gate - all magnificent structures that relate the story of Delhi along the centuries. Visit Red Fort comprising exquisite palaces reflecting Mughal architecture and JamaMasjid , the largest mosque in India . Enjoy a rickshaw ride through the colorful and bustling ChandniChowk bazaars. Visit Rajghat, a memorial for Mahatma Gandhi, Humayun's Tomb, Birla Temple, Akshardham Temple, and QutubMinar, a soaring, 239.5 ft high tower of victory dating back to 1199 AD. Overnight stay at the hotel.. Day 3 Delhi - Jaipur In the morning, drive to Jaipur, the pink city of Rajasthan. There you are transfered to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel. Day 4 Jaipur Start your morning tour from Amer Fort near Jaipur. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory decorated with mirrors. Roam around the Amer Fort on an elephant's back. In the afternoon tour 260 years old city of Jaipur, built by Maharaja Jai Singh. Visit Maharaja's City Palace, the Observatory and Ram Niwas Gardens. Drive through the HawaMahal and business areas. Overnight stay at the Jaipur. Day 5 Jaipur - Agra After breakfast, drive to Agra . En route, visit the imperial "ghost city" of FatehpurSikri , constructed of sandstone and built by Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1569. The former capital of Emperor Akbar, it was deserted when its water supply failed. Within it, lies the tomb of the great Sufi saint, SalimChisti. It houses the PanchMahal (Palace of Five Story's) and the BulandDarwaza (Gate of Victory), two of the many excellent representations of Mughal architecture. Arrival in Agra , check in at hotel. Overnight stay at the Hotel. Day 6 Agra After Breakfast proceed for the sightseeing of Agra visiting TajMahal for a spectacular view of this magnificent monument .TajMahal , one of the Seven Wonders of the World built by Emperor Shah Jahan as a shrine for his wife MumtazMahal. TajMahal, with its majestic marble domes and elegant minarets, is the ultimate symbol of love. Thereafter, visit Agra Fort built by Emperor Akbar in 1565. Made of red sandstone, this structure reflects fine Mughal architecture with ornate interiors in the JehangirMahal (Jehangir's Palace), KhasMahal , Sheesh Mahal ( Mirror Palace ) and Deewan-e-Am (Hall of Public Audience). Also, visit the marble tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah built by Empress Noor Jehan for her father. Stay overnight at the hotel. Day 7 Agra - Amritsar Early morning departure to the holy city of Sikhs , known for its Golden Temple , the most sacred shrine of the Sikhs, Amritsar is the most revered place of the Sikh Community. Amritsar derived its name from the water pool (Pool of Nectar). The town is also known worldwide for the occurrence of massacre, in the historic JallianwalaBagh by the British General Dyer's. The added charm of the place is spectacular Ram BaghGarden . On arrival check in at the hotel for overnight stay . Day 8 Amritsar Tours Golden TempleAfter breakfast, visit the Golden Temple - the holiest shrine of the Sikh religion, also known as HariMandir; JallianwalaBagh - The park commemorates the 2000 Indians who were killed or wounded at this site, shot indiscriminately by the British in 1919. The story of this massacre is told in the Martyrs' Gallery and a section of wall with bullet marks still visible is preserved, as the well into which some people jumped to escape can be seen; Ram Bagh - a beautiful garden has a museum built by Sikh Maharaja Ranjit Singh and has weapons dating back to Mughal time and some portraits of ruling houses of Punjab. In the Evening transfer back to the hotel for overnight stay. Day 9 Amritsar - Delhi - Departure After breakfast, drive to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, transfer to the International airport for onward travel to your destination.
