Alfa UBDo-gt8 is a long range outdoor 1000mW Wi-Fi USB adapter with integrated 12 dBi gain directional antenna. It features a 1000mW wireless receiver built into an outdoor weather resistant casing. It contains two mast-o ring mounting rings and an 8 meter (~24 feet) USB cable with a special dual-Y USB connection end that goes into your computer (features both a power/data connector and a secondary power-only connector so that you can use 2 USB ports on your computer to provide full power to the device without needing an external power source for it).

The UBDo-gt8 features a 12dBi wireless antenna.

It's great for picking up a WiFi signal from far away.

Ad-Hoc Mode The UBDo-gt8 can connect 2 computers via the included USB cable.

Mount the device outside on a pole pointing towards the signal you are trying to pickup.

An Ad-Hoc mode wireless network connects two computers directly without the use of a router or AP.

It is also know as a peer-to-peer network. For example, we can install this wireless adapter to two computers respectively.

The communication between the two computers is an Ad-Hoc mode network.
