MacBook Pro A1706 A1708 A1707 Flexgate Backlight Cable Repai

Due to the original LCD backlight flex cable is too short, frequent LCD open and close will cause no backlight common issue (Flexgate) on all Apple A1706 & A1708 MacBook Pro units.

Solution 1: Replacing the broken cable with one at least 3mm longer but you have to remove the entire LCD panel out which may cause the crack of the LCD panel. This solution is NOT RECOMMENDED

Solution 2: Running wiring to direct connect the broken connections but due to the same backlight cable is still in use, it will be broken again sooner or later. NOT RECOMMENDED EITHER.

Solution 3: This is our solution to cut off the entire backlight cable connector and running flexible, thick,and soft wires to connect directly from the remaingbacklight flat cable to the connector to perfectly resolve the issue. PREVENTING THE FUTURE LCDFLEXGATE NO BACKLIGHT ISSUE.
